Stations of the Cross with All of Creation

Wednesday, April 12, at 4pm at Langley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to an interfaith meditation on the sufferings of Earth. In the Lenten tradition of the Stations of the Cross, LUMC will host a Stations of Creation sponsored by the Greening Congregations Collaborative to recognize and mourn the many sufferings of Earth, our common home.  From drought in Somalia to the impact of ocean acidification in our surrounding waters, we grieve the many losses and dangers to our environment.  This will be a quiet time of reflection, accompanied by short readings and Karen's beautiful music. Booklets will be provided for 9 DAYS OF PRAYER to be offered privately before Earth Day.  This time of pilgrimage will culminate in the EARTH DAY CONCERT on Saturday, April 22 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary.

Movie Night with Popcorn AND Scientific Expertise!

Tuesday, April 18, at 7pm at St. Hubert Church. Watch a screening of "Before The Flood", a  documentary featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, and ask questions of Randall Berthold, retired NASA scientist with expertise in issues of earth and marine sciences.
